Why won't my computer play a 16-bit cd rom that it should run?
I get an error msg saying the system cannot run windows programs, or something like this, although my computer should easily run the computer. The package says it's compatible. Can I adjust a setting somewhere to allow it to play?|||Do you mean that you are trying to run a 16-bit program? 16-bit programs can't be run in a 64-bit version of Windows, if you have one. Even in a 32-bit one, they can have some problems. If you right-click the program, and select Properties, you can change the compatibility settings to an earlier version of Windows.
