My computer doesnt have sound, what to do?

I accidentally deleted the sound package from my computer, and i don't know what to do to fix it? What should i do?|||if you know what sound card you have, go to the company website and download new drivers

Or if you are on a window machine:

-Open control panel

-Select System

-Select the Hardware Tab

-Click on the Device Manage button.

You may have a "?" in the list. You can left click on it and have windows search for a driver.

Once that is done make sure the sound is turned up from "Sound and Audio Devices" and you should be good to go.|||Reinstalling the sound drivers normally fixes that problems. The driver package would also install the sound manager and whatever else is required.|||Go to your devise management and there delete the audio devise then reboot and the system will find 'new hardware' and then install the devises required driver files etc.|||Nothing to worry.............

try to restore your computer at an earlier time from system restore.

In XP

start - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.

here click on restore my computer at an earlier time and click on next click any highlighted date (the date before you delete your driver) and click on next and finish the session.

In Win Vista or Win7 click on start type restore in search bar and find "Restore your computer at an earlier time"

and do the same.

if it doesn't work so download the appropriate audio driver from web by motherboard model no. and install it

I hope it will help you.
