What am I doing wrong as I get No answers to my question about buying a basic computer package in Perth WA?

XP home or proffesional. LCD flat monitor . Inte celero . 40GB. 256 ram. $750 limited funds|||for the same $ from Dell, you can get:

PD processor (2.66 ghz, dualcore)

Win XP mediacenter edition

19" flat panel

1 gb ram

80 gb hd

cd/dvd burner

2 yr warranty and at home svc.

What you are doing wrong is not comparison shopping.|||The computer you just described is crap, DO NOT BUY IT. You can get a better computer package at BB or CC for just as much.|||Maybe you should google it or go visit Dell's website - they have great packages available and you save money by ordering online.

Alternatively try the Yellow Pages, unfortunately you won't always get an answer here.|||40gb hard drive is no good

Featuring AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core technology and optional NVIDIA graphics card for running multiple applications at once

Windows Vista Capable

Processor

AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processors

I'm in the UK, but have you tried Dell's Australian website, or is there a PC World in Perth?|||Go to local store and ask them.|||this is what you need and i totaly agree on what firedog said

http://shopper.cnet.com/Dell_Home_Dimens鈥?/a>|||I think that system will barely serve your needs for the present and will quickly be outdated.

We use a lot of Dell and HP computers at work, good quality and tech support. You should be able to order online for Dell, HP too.

Try to get at least 512 MB or RAM, 80 GB hard drive, for CPU Duo Core or Pentium D, optical drive ( CD R/W DVD ROM)
