CNET http://www.downloads.com

Major Geeks http://www.majorgeeks.com

FileHippo http://www.filehippo.com

Softpedia http://softpedia.com|||AVG Free is easily the best, C-Net (technology reviewers) gave it a very high score due to its constant updates to keep you protected against the newest threats. It also includes a powerful virus scan so you can wipe your computer clean of malicious software. I've had it for years and I download dodgy stuff alot, and anything suspicious it stops dead in its tracks, i've never had a problem.|||Although I don't use it, I've been hearing some pretty good things about COMODO free internet security....

GOOD LUCK !!!|||I suggest AVG in conjunction with spybot search and destroy.

Spybot can be downloaded at download.com.

AVG at grisoft.com

Both free!|||Symantec and Norton are two very good anti-virus systems. Hope this helped :)|||I use ZoneAlarm/Avast|||Convert to Linux|||I also use Avast! and ZoneAlarm.|||Avast is very good*
