How do I figure out the postage cost for sending my iMac desktop computer?

I want to sell this computer on eBay, but how do I figure out how much the postage and packaging will cost without dragging it down to the post office?|||stick on the scales at home to find out the weight, then go here:

http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/PriceF鈥?/a>

enter the weight and where its going voilla there you go,

however this only works in uk sorry|||Package it, weigh it and then go to www.usps.com to calculate postage. If you want to do ups the price will vary based on zip codes.|||if you know the size (dimensions) and weight you could just ring the post office for advise!|||Use a Bathroom scale.

Weigh yourself

Then hold the iMac and weigh yourself again

Then subtract.

Then visit http://www.usps.com and calculate your postage.

Good luck and Happy Computing!|||www.royalmail.com is very good on their website with this sort of thing.|||go to the mac website find out how much your cpu weighs, then go to usps.com and look for shipping rates.|||look at shipping" calculate "|||The USPS has an entire page of shipping tips and tools on their website. I'm sure you can find out the rate of shipping and the type of packaging there.

this is a postal calculator for the royal mail online. jus put in the weight etc and check which way you wish to send it i.e. next day guaranteed, rocorded etc.

A laptop might be too big but plenty of courier services also have online calculators for postage so just check them out.

:)|||Use http://www.parcel2go.co.uk

One fixed fee. They collect, and deliver next day, and don't play football with items (like Royal Fail do...)|||on ebay see what other people are putting down as the postage cost and put around about the same, i think it will be about 拢20.00

good luck with selling your item
