) Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel

2) Double click on Add/Remove Programs

3) Find "Zango" in the list of installed programs and click on Change/Remove to uninstall it. There may also be a program called Media Gateway, remove it as well.

Reboot your PC and see if it has gone.

If you are unable to find it in Add/remove progs and If for any reason, Zango did not completely uninstall, click on the following link to download and run the uninstaller.

follow that|||Run your AV again and select remove spyware. Go to control panel, add/remove programs and search for zango - select remove. Restart windows and don't go blindly clicking on things you are unsure of. Bad newbie.|||My brother installed Zango onto my computer, don't worry the program isn't actually a virus, but it comes with lots of popups and stuffs, it's really annoying.

I would suggest downloading MalwareBytes Anti-malware, it should get rid of all the popups and stuff, it's a great anti-malware program, heres the link:

I use the free version, the link is to the free version, the only bad thing about the free version is that you can't schedule scans, I use AVG free alongside this, which can do scheduled scans.|||you may have an anti-virus program on your computer but you have to update it daily and scan daily|||Download, install and run SuperAntiSpyware.

It will find and remove trojans.

Also uninstall Zango if you don't want it.|||A bunch of the answers I've seen that you've received already sound good...but I'll just add what helped me.

You say the anti virus found 8 spyware, so you should delete them|||Don't buy Adware Alert. It is spyware itself and will really screw things up. Zango is not a virus but it is a foolish little application that will invite all kinds of pop ups and spam. You should uninstall it using ThuhaH's directions.|||Zango isn't a virus, it's adware.
