what is meant by "Explains how a computer based accounting package is organised."?|||Computer based accounting package can be organized in two ways. Client-Server or Single User Set-up. Client-Server is composed of both front-end and back-end application. front-end is composed of user-based applications and back-end is composed of the database itself which is the tables. Front-end is the end user's interface. Accounting packages follows the same accounting cycle, from Recording (Journal Entries), Classifying (Real Account and Subsidiary Account Set-ups), Summarizing (Operating and Financial Reports), Interpreting (Decision Support System). - Accounting Package commence by recording inputs, and where do inputs come from? The users. For example, in recording daily sales, some complete packages record the sales input real time by using barcode system, unlike with the manual recording where hard copies of receipts were still needed to submit to accounting department for recording purposes. Now that we are already in the information technology era, manual input works are already eliminated.|||Dear Manny,
