I have another computer but it does not have microsoft office. But my other computer does. How do I install the package to the other computer? And can the 2 computers have microsoft office, or will the computer with the package not have it anymore, once it has been transfered?|||You may try one of transfer program tools available for Windows
I am familiar with 3 tools that are able to do that:
* PCMover - transfers about 250 programs, settings and files, about $50.
* Windows 7 Migration - transfers about 30 programs, settings and files, about $25
* PickMeApp - transfers about a million programs only, but free.
After transfer, both PC will run MS Office. However the license issue is complicated . Some of Microsoft licenses allows you to have MS Office on a desktop and notebook in the same time.|||If you buy the Home and Office 2 pack you can use the same serial number on a desktop computer and a portable computer.
For Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 2 Pack:
License Rights: For software marked “Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 2 Pack”, you may install one copy of the software on the licensed device and one additional copy on a portable device for use by the single primary user of the licensed device.|||If you have the original install disc then yes. But legally you should remove it from the original computer as one license is for one installation.|||You can't transfer it fromm one to another computer because it has files in WINDOWS folder and the only way is to install it in your another computer|||microsoft license if for only one computer. but you can install it on another computer if you remove it from the original.|||You don't. MS Office has so much crap buried in the registry that it's nearly impossible to move it from one computer to another. Try Open Office instead.|||You need the installation disc or the CAB files. Strictly speaking it is one licence per machine.
