the will was executed properly and stored on a computer|||If its in the right format and witnessed it could be written on a cigarette box.|||Was it witnessed; that's what counts.|||To be executed properly it wold have to be printed out and signed. The soft copy would not likely be admissible since it would be easy to modify the content with out a trace.|||I wouldn't trust YA to provide reliable legal advice. But I do know that a signed original is valid. I wouldn't rely on a computer image, alone.|||"the will was executed properly "
Says who?
If a probate clerk or a local lawyer has reviewed the language, the signatures, the witnesses and notary, and said it was valid that's one thing.
"Stored on a computer" means a scanned copy not an original; and most states will not accept a document without ORIGINAL signatures.
Scanned copies aren't it.|||A Will can be writen on a plain sheet of paper as long as it is legible, and witnessed.|||In the UK it is legal if printed out signed and witnessed it cannot be stored on a computer as you cannot store original signatures there.
